SET SHOWCASE: I heart the 50's

Its time to go retro before going Into the Future. I am the most proud of how I decorated with this set using the I heart the 50's dining set as well as some things from Fast Lane Stuff and the fridge (which is awesome) is from Supernatural. I love all things retro in the sims so I don't exactly know how I will feel about the futuristic theme when I get ITF.

SET SHOWCASE: India Inspirations

Just a few pictures from my set decor thing that I love doing. I may not be the best sims interior designer but I love getting the sets and seeing what can be done with them. I showcase sets that I have. I certainly don't get all of them because there is no way I could spend so much money on the store but I try to get the ones that really stand out. This one was gifted to me by my best friend who also loves sims more than her own life. If she didn't gift it to me then I probably wouldn't have got it myself because I didn't like the theme so much. I ended up loving this set so much.

Using Twallan's Traveler Mod

Hey Simmers,

This is just a short blog post on how to use the amazing (in my opinion) Twallan's Traveler mod especially if you're new to mods or are kind of scared to use them (like I was at first). Here are the instructions to get this mod:

Installing the Mod

1. Go to Installing Package Files to make sure you know how to use mods and install package files. I needed to refer to this about a million times when I first installed mods.

2. Download Twallan's Traveler Mod at http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Traveler follow the instructions carefully. Before downloading you need to select which patch your game is at (this is important) and you need to have University and World Adventures or just World Adventures installed for this to work 100%.

3. Unzip the file and place in  Documents/EA/Sims 3/Mods/Packages. Start Sims 3 and enjoy. Note: it only works after you save your game for the first time after installing the mod. Refer any problems or issues to http://nraas.wikispaces.com

Review of Grim's Ghastly Manor Venue

The Grim Reaper has been a key feature throughout The Sims series and as the Sims 3 series draws to a close our old friend Grim gets featured again. This time he has his own manor and of course its located in a graveyard 'cause that's just how he rolls.

The first thing that caught my attention when purchasing the new venue from the sims 3 store was the insane price, 1700 simpoints! (this is the sale price by the way). I recently purchased a stuff pack on sale and it was much less than that if you equate it to monetary value. I had spare simpoints lying around so I purchased it praying for the best.
